What is Siete Suri?

Siete Suri (hereafter referred to as “Siete Suri,” “the Research Portal,” or “the Portal”) is the official repository for research in the Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office VII.

The Portal was designed to contribute to the culture of research in the Department by providing easy access to completed and quality-assured research produced by its employees, as well as its partner organizations and institutions. Policy backing for the Portal is provided by DepEd Order No. 16, series of 2017.

Siete Suri is powered by a fully customized content management system designed and developed specifically to showcase and manage research outputs in DepEd Region VII. This system was tailored to meet the unique needs of the organization, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and accessibility of research materials for educators, researchers, and stakeholders.

Siete Suri operates on a custom-built framework where content is structured according to institutional requirements. The Portal organizes content into two main categories: research uploads and informational pages. Research uploads include completed studies and research-related materials such as announcements, feature articles, and updates. Informational pages contain non-time-sensitive content, including sections such as “About” and “Contact Us.”

Siete Suri relies on multiple layers of users who are assigned specific roles in managing and creating content. These roles define the functions a user can perform within the system, including creating, reviewing, editing, and publishing content. Access control ensures data integrity and proper workflow management.
